ALL Studio Art courses with the exception of the partial credit ARTX 200 TV Production count toward Phi Beta Kappa eligibility. 

ALL Music courses with the exception of MUSC 465 Music Education Seminar, the partial credit music ensemble courses (MUSC 200) and the one-unit Instrumental Music Methods courses (MUSC 161, 162, and 163) count toward Phi Beta Kappa eligibility.

ALL Theatre Arts courses with the exception of the partial credit THEA 200 Theatre Production Laboratory courses count toward Phi Beta Kappa eligibility.

ALL creative writing courses in the English Department (specifically ENGL 107 Introduction to Creative Writing, ENGL 210 Intermediate Poetry Workshop, 211 Intermediate Fiction Workshop, ENGL 215 Creative Nonfiction Workshop, ENGL 437 Advanced Poetry Workshop, ENGL 438 Advanced Fiction Workshop, and ENGL 439 Narrative Journalism) count toward Phi Beta Kappa eligibility.

The upper-level journalism courses ENGL 207 Arts Journalism and ENGL 208 Food and Travel Writing count toward Phi Beta Kappa eligibility, but NOT ENGL 105 Introduction to Journalism: Newswriting Principles and Techniques.

ALL Math courses except for MATH 110 Calculus I with Review – Part 1, count toward meeting the Mathematics stipulation.

COMP 215 Design and Analysis of Algorithms and COMP 300 Automata, Formal Languages, and Computability count toward meeting the Mathematics stipulation.

PSYC 226 Physiological Psychology, PSYC 265 Cognitive Science, PSYC 290 Animal Behavior with Lab, PSYC 415 Computational Neuroscience, and PSYC 390 Experimental Methods, count as natural science courses in meeting the required two courses in the natural sciences, mathematics and computer science.
